The New South Wales branch of the International Wine & Food Society cordially invites you to an exclusive Fine Wine Dinner, hosted by Mr Chris Bonsall at Carte Restaurant in Glebe.

This dinner promises an exploration of one of Sydney's finest culinary offerings, complemented by wines of the highest caliber. To give you a sense of what to expect:

About Carte, the Food, and the Wine:

Carte offers an exciting and unique sensory experience, with artistic elements carefully incorporated into every detail. Chef Bing Liu crafts exquisite dishes that showcase the finest Australian seasonal ingredients, promising a refined and memorable dining experience.

We will enjoy an eight-course degustation menu with cooking influenced by Chef Bing’s time working in Japan, France and here in Australia – as well as his own Chinese-American heritage.

This will be paired with wine flights featuring some of the finest wine Australia and France have to offer. Highlights will include Australian icons Tyrell’s Vat 47 2017, and Penfolds Grange Hermitage 1986, while France will be represented by Nuits St Georges 1er Cru Les Damodes (Domaine Jean Chauvenet) 2010, and Sauternes from Chateau Rieussec 2003
