February Events

February 10, 2015
Theme A Spa Experience
Venue Grayshott Spa
Location Grayshott, Headley Road, Grayshott near Hindhead, Surrey GU26 6II
Date Feb 10, 2015
Time 11.45 for 12.00pm. to eat at 12.

Having spent five days at Grayshott Spa after my knee replacement I conceived the idea of holding an event there. Susie Punch has also visited there and experienced its delights. After having talks with Jackie the administrator we have come up with a lunch.

Menu: a soup followed by a very varied selection of salads with chicken and fish, a dessert and tea or coffee to finish.

You will be welcomed with a glass of wine and you may also purchase wine if you wish to.

Our lunch will be served in a private room which is their conservatory.

Stephanie Moore will give a short talk on Nutrition; she and Elaine Williams both nutritionists plus the chefs Vicki Edgson and Adam Palmer have collaborated  in writing the recipe book Gutgastronomy. They are fully involved in Grayshott’s Health Regime. This cook book will be available to buy at the reduced price of £25. Please don’t be put off by the title!

The cost will be £35 for members and £37 for guests

Time 11.45  for 12.00pm. to eat at 12.30

Venue:- Grayshott, Headley Road, Grayshott near Hindhead, Surrey GU26 6II Tel: 01428 602000.  The house is an old one with of course many additions now to accommodate the guests plus the spas and treatment rooms etc. There are beautiful gardens though it might be a bit cold to explore them in February! Now that there is a tunnel under the Devil’s Punch Bowl the route is a easy one travelling west along the A3.
