February 15, 2011
Theme Valentines at Abracadabra
Venue Abracadabra Restaurant in Mayfair
Location 91 Jermyn Street
Date Feb 15, 2011
Time 7 pm for 7:30 pm

The Abracadabra in Mayfair serves an authentic and eclectic menu of delicious, wholesome dishes from around the world, including a wide selection of Russian & Eastern European dishes.

The restaurant is a space with rich decor, occupying a large area below Jermyn Street and no expense has been spared to provide a multifarious dining room featuring private dining booths - each offering their own unique experience; a large revolving table as well as private dining rooms, one which we will occupy.

Be forewarned this restaurant is not for the faint hearted. Lord David West (he bought the title on E-bay) who owns and runs it, is one of London’s most colourful (and rich) characters. Reputed to be worth over £100m David spend over two years building both the restaurant and adjoining club, HeyJo. David also hired Cherie Blair to fight her husband’s Government in Court over the then proposed smoking ban in his premises (unsuccessfully).
